This RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip uses NFC (near field communication)!
What does that mean?
Each devices is encrypted with what is essentially a one-of-a-kind serial number. This number can then be associated with or assigned to do a various number of functions.
How does it work?
To use the chip, you will need to place it very close (within 6" or less) to an RFID reader device. The device will then read your encrypted serial number and associate that number with the function you are requesting.
Is it secure?
Imagine replacing your email password with "sting" of 2000 random characters.
